Venue Facilities

Our Race HQ is now at the brand new Atrium venue at Chessington Community College Garrison Lane, Chessington.  We also use the adjoining Chessington Sports Centre.

Toilets

We know runners need to use the loo before a race and we've tried to put on as many as we can.  But, however many we have, there will be queues if everyone leaves it to the last minute. Toilets are available in the following places;
  • Chessington World of Adventure Car Park (Top end)
  • Race HQ atrium (ground floor AND upper levels)
  • Sports Centre
  • The Start (Portaloos)
There are loads of toilets available, please plan ahead and DO NOT use the bushes or anywhere on the Barwell Industril Estate. We risk not being allowed to use the HQ & Start Venues if people don't use the proper loos...

Changing

For those of you who want to change in the warm, there are seperate male & female changing & showering facilities in the Sports Centre.  These can be found by going diagonally through the main Atrium and out across the yard or round the back of the Atrium through the Sports Centre entrance. There's more loos here as well!

Baggage

Baggage drop facilities will be available, with all baggage being stored in a location that only race organisers have access to. However baggage is left at the owners risk.

Refreshments

Before and after the race you can also buy light refreshments at the snack bar in the main Atrium, so bring a few quid for a hot chocolate and a flapjack for that important post race refuelling!  This snack bar will be open all morning so speactators can stock up as well.

First Aid

The main Atrium has an ante-room just near the main reception desk which is used on the day by our St John Ambulance crew for the treatment of minor injuries , so if you've got any medical problems please use them.
