Race Permits

Course Measurement

The 10km course were measured by Certified SEAA Course Measurer Hugh Jones on 1st February 2007.

All kilometre marker posts are placed in accordance with the Course Measurer's instructions. The course measurement of 10k was certified as being accurate - certificate number SEAA(07/003).

BARR Race Grading

We've been awarded the British Association of Road Races Silver grade every year except for our first year's Bronze Grading. We are awaiting issue of the 2010 Grading.

BARR is a non-profit making organisation, ensuring that high standards and safety are maintained for Road Running and associated events in the United Kingdom.

Race Permit

We have been awarded a Race Permit from England Athletics (2009-100421). Race Permits are given when basic standards of safety are adhered to and ensure public liability insurance cover for the event.


Medical Support

First Aid and On Course medical care is being provided by St John Ambulance. We have a dedicated first Aid Room in the College and an Ambulance on stand by. St. John Ambulance is the UK's leading First Aid, Transport and Care charity. Its mission is to provide First Aid and medical support services, caring services in support of community needs and education, training and personal development to young people.
