2010 Race Information

Date: Sunday 14th February 2010.  Start: 09.00am  NOTE EARLY START TIME!

Postal Entries close Sat 3rd Feb (postmark).  Entries arriving with a later postmark will be treated as an on the day entry and the "On The Day" fee may be payable upon collection of your number on Race Day.

The Race is held under UKA Rules and you must be 15 years old to run (we disqualified 2 runners last year who were knowingly entered by their parents).

Affiliated Club Runner- £10
Unaffiliated Runner - £12
On The Day - All Runners £15

We've slightly increased prices from last year to part cover the chip timing, but have managed to secure a £5 Voucher from Sweatshop and a free For Goodness Shakes Recovery drink (worth over £1.20), so with a T-shirt, the ever present post race choccy bar and a good stash of spot prizes, we think the race is great value!

Online Entry

We are introducing chip timing this year and online entry is being handled by Sports Systems.  In common with most Races, there is a small admin fee for Credit Card Entries

Paper Entry Forms

If you prefer to enter using a paper entry form and pay by cheque, you can download an Entry Form (PDF) and send it via snail mail to Sports Systems.

On the Day Entries

We welcome entries on the day, but the price is a little higher.  The on the day cost is £15 to everyone, regardless of club membership.

This price differential is there to cover the extra workload of registering people while still making sure we can produce results for everyone as quickly as possible. If you are entering on the day, please do leave plenty of time - we have had people try to register 1 minute before the race starts which is inadvisable; the start is nearby, but not that nearby. We also have to guestimate the number of on the day runners when pre-ordering T-Shirts, any goody bags and other items, so not knowing quite who will be there carries a little extra cost as we must cater for the uncertainty. So, if you know you'll be running, save yourself money and enter beforehand!

On the day entries close at 08:30 prompt.
