Why do the results take so long to come out?
Up until recently the vast majority of races had results ready in a week or so and sent them out by post. With more and more Clubs using the internet, expectations have risen and runners want the results even faster. As runners ourselves, we know how important it is to make sure they are as accurate as possible before we publish them.

As usual there were a few runners that slowed the process down, either by not wearing their number at all and carrying it rolled in their hand, wearing it covered up into the funnels or wearing it in other places than the chest. We ejected one male runner just prior to the finish who had no number and was freeloading. We had one male runner who called one of our Marshals a w****r for asking him to show his number. You (and we) know who you are, do not bother entering next year.
